Here's the link to the FastStone site. There are a few different programmes, but the one I've been using in FastStone Image Viewer
I've downloaded quite a few free editing programmes from the web, but this is the one that does what I want quickly and simply. I have also tried trial versions of commercial products, like Photoshop etc. but I found them to be too complex - too many complicated features that I wouldn't use. Great for professional editors, I'm sure, but the programmes generally take a long time to open. Why do I need that?
FastStone opens very quickly and it's easy to find your photos and edit them. I wanted a batch editor and this one is good. First you select the photos you want to edit, then you set the size, quality, location and a name for the set, adjust the contrast and saturation etc. then click the button. A few seconds later all the images are in the folder you want them in with neat little names.
FastStone is Freeware, which means it doesn't cost anything and is for unlimited noncommercial use.
